In the six years that we have been operating as a label, it has been hard to trace a more fulfilling journey than that of Fergus Sweetland’s. Psychologists term Fergus’ commitment to sound as the ‘flow state’; a state of being fully immersed in the creative process, and experiencing the purest essence, the most joy, in creating sound. The Magnolia LP is the penultimate product of this dedication, having been many years in the making, and finally out on Connection Verified Recordings.

As a result of his journey, the LP showcases a palpable sonic maturity, incredible sound design, and high-level mixing and mastering ability. The LP charts a course through fluttering, noisy textural fields, cacophonic stabs, swung rhythmic elements, and a truly special temperateness that almost pulls at the heartstrings with every chord. Accompanying the LP is a limited edition printed USB tin that comes complete with the tracks loaded. We are proud, privileged, and excited to bring you our 20th release: CVRXX
